What we expect from Apple's "Let's Rock" event.
From what infos I so far gathered here are some of the things we should expect to hear about at Apple's "Let's Rock" event at Sep9.
1. iPod Nano Slim will be announced
2. iTunes 8.0 will be announced
3. iPod Touch prices drop due to new iPod model
4. iPhone 2.1 firmware update announced (Possible only for beta testers first)
Well with less that 40 hours left I am guessing that's pretty much all the leaks you'll get UNLESS Steve has a dark little secret for us :P

Next-gen iPod nano, iPod touch dimensions Leacked
The drawings, published over at iLounge, show an iPod nano that will mark a return of the tall and narrow form factor, checking in at 0.75mm taller, 1.25mm narrower, and 0.42mm thinner than the second-generation iPod nanos introduced during the fall of 2006.
Although the drawings portray a more pronounced oval-shaped body than the second generation nanos, the player's aluminum enclosure will reportedly give way to a plastic covered screen that is flat, and doesn't share the same curvature as the iPod's body, as some earlier reports had suggested.
Compared to the existing iPod touch, the new model is said to be the same width, but 1mm taller and 0.4mm thicker. Also apparent from the drawings are the presence of physical volume controls on the side of the device (iPhone style), addressing one of the most widely cited shortcomings of the first-generation model.

Apple confirms September 9 Special Event: "Let's Rock"
Apple has sent out invites to a Special Event taking place on September 9. The invite features the iconic iPod silhouette along with the tagline "Let's Rock." It will be taking place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco at 10am Pacific Time next Tuesday.
The invite confirms previous rumors of an event taking place on September 9, and the design of the e-mail indicates that it does, in fact, have to do with iPods. There is currently nothing indicating that this will be a combined iPod-Mac event, but it's widely expected that Apple will introduce a new iPod nano design along with possible iPod touch price drops.
