Excellent news for the Video Game Industry. 2008 was the first year ever that video game sales passed DVD and Blue Ray sales COMBINED. Even if this is not good news for you, believe me when i tell you this will effect your lives for the next 5 years. While DVD and Blue-ray sales dropped a combined 6% last year (selling $29 billion in product), video games grew by 20%, to $32 billion.
